What I still post here is still genuine. I’m just biting my tongue about certain topics. No different than one would do while at work.

It was with great pain that I recently deleted something like 50 to 100 of my own posts. They were all political. Lots of great discussions. But we live in a time where having the wrong kind of history on social media could make you a target either now or in the future. I’m sure a lot of that is still floating around one way or another but if I can reduce any spotlights on my ass it’s something I felt I had to do.
Since then I haven’t deleted anything. I try to keep my posts non-political. In my real life I am now focusing on bettering myself. I’ve given up on trying to change the country or anything like that. It can all they to ash. I’ve ran out of fucks to give.
But hey, I’m contributing on [email protected] again, so there’s that.
Sounds like the DA is going to get sued along with many others if/when the accused is found not guilty.

Not to mention, they could already be familiar with the company.
Some people may alter names and words to avoid retaIiation if/when the oIigarchs figure out how to scrap Iemmy for keywords in search for those who may oppose them. This is already happening on other pIatforms.

Some will continue to protect themselves in favor of assisting others to keep their heads in the sand.
One more reason to use Aurora Store instead of Google Play. Or better yet, F-Droid.
Damn skippy! 😜
You’re not alone.
They misspelled “days”.
If it’s a code violation for the poors it should be a code violation for tesIa. I guarantee if one of us parked a vehicle there for more than a couple days it would be gone.
I’m all out of funny but I want to let you know I’ve been seeing you a lot on lemmy lately and I appreciate that you are part of this community.
I don’t get the privacy angle on this when it’s scraping public comments. If people don’t want their information known, they shouldn’t post it on public forums.
This has resulted in many porn sites simply denying users from those locations.
You’re not wrong. But if I had to pick between blocking .xxx on my kid’s device or uploading a photo of my ID to various porn sites, I know which one I’m choosing.
Somewhere worse.
We’re not taking about security. We’re taking about unsupervised children seeing boobies.
Years ago the .xxx TLD was introduced for adult websites. If we’re going to regulate adult sites. Why not require them to use .xxx for their domains and let parental controls do the rest?
Even if you don’t have a facebook account, you’ve got a facebook account.
Downvotes are not what I’m afraid of. I shouldn’t have to explain this to someone with your username.
