It definitely made me think of Jobs when I saw it. Not sure about the mouth part, but if thats what you see, its probably what was intended.
Next in line, I guess they can call it just “App”.
Saw this yesterday which is relevant
I don’t know how legislation works… but in legal documents there’s usually a provision that says if any part of this document is found to be invalid for legal reasons, only that part of the document is voided, and the rest remains in tact.
I wouldn’t really called it a solved problem when waymo with lidar is crashing into physical objects
NHTSA stated that the crashes “involved collisions with clearly visible objects that a competent driver would be expected to avoid.” The agency is continuing its investigation.
It’d probably be better to say that Lidar is the path to solving these problems, or a tool that can help solve it. But not solved.
Just because you see a car working perfectly, doesn’t mean it always is working perfectly.
If those withholding tax changes go through, I wonder if the Canadian government would ease capital gains rules on impacted investments as long as something specific was done with them.
Thats going to impact nearly everyone in some way or another be it pensions or personal investments.
I think the lesson I’m learning is people should answer the door with a primed grenade.
Wouldn’t offering payment and not paying it also be criminal in someway?
There’s a really good movie called Margin Call about the crisis. It’s about a single night at a fictional company when they see what’s about to happen before anyone else.
I thought the headline was going to end in deported lol.
I’ve had recent problems with FedEx like this as well. Like 3 of the past 4 deliveries it says it’s going to deliver maybe a day early, then just fucking sits in the depo in the city ALL DAY while still saying it’s going to be delivered today, until it’s the end of the day and it switches to tomorrow.
Get ready for no flu vaccines for similar circumstances as well!
If the government suspects them of doing this, couldn’t they pass a law requiring them to display the tarrif amount?
Not sure we could expect the government to do that either, but seems like an option.
I read one a week ago or so that started with Matt Gaetz (I think, if not him someone like him) going to El Salvador to see their prisons, and I thought it was going to end with some line about him being appalled by the conditions. Turns out the visit was many months ago and after seeing it, it was his idea to deport people there.
Next election on the ballot.
Ballot measures by the people cannot be revoked / overturned / undone or in any way shape or form be contradicted, other than through a future ballot measure at the following election. ANY ATTEMPT TO DO SO BY AN ELECTED OFFICIAL IN ANY MANNER WHATSOEVER RESULTS IN THEIR IMMEDIATE DECAPITATION IN A PUBLIC SQUARE.
Putin: How long would it take to seize Kyiv? Can we do it in three days?
YES MAN: THREE DAYS SIR! YES SIR!
I moved from a location that had fluoride where I grew up, to one that didn’t as an adult, and with the same oral routine, I went from 1 cavity to like a dozen and multiple root canals.
I’m not saying my routine was sufficient and I’ve gotten better at it, but if people are used to one thing and it suddenly changes, they’re gonna be pretty surprised at the impact.
Did you say Magnets?
I saw some study years ago that looked at the best way to prevent people from falling into the nazi/white supremacy rabbit hole, and it was to not expose them to the material.
Assuming it was legitimately done, that pretty much means there’s a portion of the population that wants it or is susceptible/vulnerable to it, and no amount of education or teaching will prevent it.
