So… draw out your response and either say “Actually, Hitler was also a moron.” or “You’re right, Hitler was way smarter.” Otherwise you’re responding to something I didn’t say.
Hitler was Einstein compared to anyone in the U.S. admin right now. I mean, fuck Hitler, but he wasn’t a dumbass.
My initial reaction was it’s not true at my local Mexican tavern, but then I remembered Crackerbarrel is almost always on the left and I don’t think it can get more white than a barrel full of crackers.
Reminds me of the post from the cat owner who hear a noise and first reaction was, “I’m going to shove my finger so far up your little asshole!” because they thought their cat was up to mischief again only to later realize they unintentionally scarred a burglar for life.
If that’s what you need to get there, no kink shame here.
Will no one think of the children? Whenever these people say something, the best strategy is look in the opposite direction they are pointing you. In this instance, they are working to pass child-bride full-legalization. They’re definitely thinking of the children.
So, if we add information it makes sense, but only then? Which is my point, it’s disingenuous. The people making $5K a year back in 1492 are the ones who passed their wealth on to the 0.001% today. Making $5K per day is just more money, and my point still stands.

As long as they’re as radical the second time around, I’m game.
Most of the pope-pics I’ve seen from popes-previous were without the pope-hat. That makes me think it’s more of a passive inventory item - full effects just from possession.
This reminds me of a kid with a similar diagnosis I had when I first started teaching. He just turned 18 and came in that day “with his adult voice.” Full octave lower than usual, and wanted everyone to know it was because he just turned 18 - lasted until about lunch time. Hopefully this is a joke shirt, but I can definitely say there are people like this out there.
100% agree. I regularly use spellcheck and access encyclopedias / dictionaries to doublecheck myself. I think grammarly was a great invention. But, once it went from analyzing voice/tone/mood to fully written block text many people just assumed they didn’t have to learn to write anymore. My humble brag is that I don’t use predictive text on any device. That makes me slower than others to respond. But in my mind it means I have to think about how to articulate just a bit more and, personally, I think I read more closely because of that too.
If you are still asking what my point is after my two comments, I think we’re done here.
Yes. Your math is correct. My point was never “billionaires good”, but rather the meme is disingenuous. But I guess any time anyone says anything other than “billionaires bad” they get downvoted.
Tell me your a white boy without saying you’re a white boy.
I get the point. I’ve even posted about how absurd a billion dollars is. But, here’s the problem with the post’s absurdism: $5,000 a day since 1492 would be well over a billion dollars today, assuming things like investing, real-estate, and inflation still exist. Given that, for reference, $5K / year was uber rich around the victorian era, you’d definitely be a multi-billionaire if you’ve had access to that kind of money since 1492.
I thought they were the “Keep government out of my body!” party. Seems like a lot of bending over for Uncle Sam’s schlong going on. What happened to “the right to choose which vaccines we take”?
