  • Really not worth an answer, but I feel I need to give one regardless.

    1. If Russia wanted the war (that they started, yes, you start a war if your military moves across a border and starts shooting) to stop, they would suggest any kind of compromise in negotiations. Russia wants to occupy the Ukraine as a whole. It has no interest in stopping a war that they are not losing.

    2. There might be no war but class war, but the people in the Kremlin are not exactly happy, socialist proletarians. Quite the opposite. From what I hear from people who lived there, Ukraine was a corrupt and poor country, but still leagues better than Russia.

    3. Why would the ruling elite of Ukraine want the war to continue (apparently they have a choice other than surrendering and running away)? So that they might ultimately lose and end up shot by the Russians? Come on, that’s stupid.

  • Why do you have issues with liquids? Because of the chance of leaks?

Personally, I think 1l or so of oil is pretty handy, and coolant can be topped up with water in an emergency (do ensure the correct amount of actual “coolant” is in there, in a non-emergency, because corrosion is not fun. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think brake fluid is worth it, if there is a situation where I find myself without brake fluid, I probably can’t do anything with small tools.

IMHO it is worth the risk. If I lived away from gas stations, I would probably also have a fuel can.

  • Depends. I am think the fact that we can access a lot of diverse sources of information is the greatest part of the internet. For example, I do not want to ask a person how this obscure part of this device works, I want to quickly know how this device works. Usually, I tend to use both classic search engines and the hallucination machines, because both can shortcut hours of research or be completely useless, depending on the question.

  • Mimicry not, but a lot of “cute” behaviour is absolutely learned. If our dog wants something, she pokes you with her paw while making a cute face. Must have learned that from her previous owners. Our previous dog (who we had for much longer) never did that. That shit is 100% conscious effort, as in she observed humans tapping each other on the shoulder and figuring out that it works for her as well.
